Bringing in Millions of People Destroys our Environment

The overcrowding of cities and municipalities, the encroachment on green space, new land use bylaws and the fight against NIMBY(Not In My Back Yard) are eroding the beauty of our neighbourhoods and communities by force.

Communities should be stewards of their lands.

A community is a rich tapestry of families and the roles they fill in feeding, housing and protecting each other. To maintain harmony with the land, the growth of this community must be slow enough such that we continue to be good stewards of the land. Historically, this rate of growth had been maintained by the limitations of natural growth such as food, shelter and clothing. With the transition, instead, to migratory growth, we are seeing rapid city growth and the wholesale destruction of protected green spaces, as was seen in Ontario recently with Premier Doug Ford selling off previously protected green spaces. With this, comes the ills of both pollution and congestion.

A High Desire to Preserve our Quality of Life that is Being Negatively Impacted by Mass Immigration.

Canadians want access to nature, equality and the rule of law.   Canadians value quality of life over a larger economy.

Over the past 5 decades, the concept of good government has been pushed aside by interests whose agenda is to remake Canada into a commercial market, rather than a nation.   Their desire is to treat Canadians as consumers, rent-payers, and cheap labour rather than as citizens.

The manipulated national conversation has been misdirected to focus on the growth of the commercial economy and asset inflation, as opposed to human well-being, environmental health, and quality of life. Democratic support for what has become a developer economy is rapidly decreasing.

Neither is there much democratic support for mass immigration or its impacts.  This comes as no surprise to anyone outside of the media/political class, but shows just how disconnected from political and environmental reality the national conversation has become.

Canada is a Cold Country with High per Capita Energy Needs

Immigration from Warm Climates to Canada Increases Energy Demand

Latitude and climate have a huge impact on the ability of a country to transition to renewable energy. In most cases, the energy density, low cost and storage characteristics of fossil fuels have resulted in large populations being established in regions of extreme climate where previously just handfuls of people lived off the land.

As we return to effectively living off the land – living off natural flows of energy and resources rather than mining the accumulated stocks – there will be a natural contraction of populations back to more hospitable regions where the energy available is more and the energy demand of living is less.”

Any move towards renewable energy is obviously incompatible with mass migration into Canada

Many aspects of life in Canada are being altered by the massive influx of newcomers.  Let’s unite to work on solutions that will help everyone.
